This restaurant offers an all-day breakfast and full bar service. There's an early bird special from 6am to noon featuring eggs, hash browns and toast—and you can go straight from that to the lunch soup and super sandwich combo. For dinner, you can feast on steak, seafood or Italian main dishes. All of the dinner meals can be accompanied by wine, ale, or hard stuff from the bar. To top it all off, they even have a kids' menu.

It's definitely kitschy (bordering on sketchy) and certainly not a gourmet mecca, but this eclectic joint has been fuelling this city's early mornings for some time now. The major draw is the 99-cent breakfast, served between 6 a.m. and noon, consisting of two eggs, hash browns and toast. If you don't like that, there's got to be something on the voluminous menu to interest your palate!

I'm stunned by the other reviews, as this is an incredible place. I've been going here for over 20 years and it's consistently great.
The whole flying saucer theme is cool, the service is always friendly, and the food is so good I wish I had a second stomach so I could eat more.
My usual order is the Saucer Burger with meat sauce on the fries and the side of coleslaw - it's a very filling meal and always done perfect. The Poutine fries are a good substitute for the regular fries if you want the meal to be more "Canadian".
Add an appetizer and the meal usually comes to $12 or so.
You will wait a bit for the food as they don't make it until you order it, but I'm fine with that. And there's a lot more than just hamburgers on the huge menu, but that's just my favorite thing to order.
Give this place a try. Even with the cool saucer atmosphere, the food is still the star here.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant and were a little hesitant. No one we knew had ever been there. We went in and it was a diner style, but it was so cool! We had the $.99 breakfast, when I ordered coffee I didn't know I was going to get the whole pot! The service was super fast, and the food was great, we will definetly go back this summer!!!

My family visited Niagara for the very first time this year , We came across the Saucer because we were staying on Lundy lane , On our first day we had breakfast at the Flying Saucer and may I add the staff was fast and friendly , The food was delicious and the coffee was the best I have had , We loved the Flying Saucer so much we decided on our last nite that we would have dinner there , May I add the food was nothing short of spectacular , The staff again was very courteous . My family really enjoyed our visit and plan to visit again soon and the Flying Saucer will be our first choice ...

Perfect for that hangover you should have after a long thorough night of drinking, gambling, and whatever other trouble you can find around the Falls..... I've never heard anyone complain about a breakfast here and that should encompass, oh about 200 or so meals. Take a picture out front and then head inside and fill up. And don't worry, the place doesn't spin.

Where to start?? First of all, they sat us in a table over by the take out menu so we had to listen to the milkshake machine going every few minutes and them fight and argue over menu orders. Secondly, our meal was absolutely terrible. My husband ordered the steak and shrimp meal and the steak was almost entirely made of FAT and one of the shrimps had a HAIR in it. I ordered the Chicken Parmagiani and the spaghetti that came with it was HARD as if it had sat out for ages.
Thirdly, we were forgotten about by our waitress. Once our meal was given to us, we never saw her again. She didn't come back to ask us how our meal was, to offer more to drink...NOTHING!! Then we had to wait for the bill. Had to ask someone TWICE where our waitress was so we could get our bill and I wanted to say something to someone about the food.
Finally when she arrived with our bill, I told her about the state of our food and she just looked at me angrily and then went on to tell the man at the take out counter(who I assume was the manager) about my complaint about the food. He didn't apologize...all he said was, "Why are you only complaining now? Why didn't you say something to someone before?" He was angry at me when he was saying this. I told him that there was no one around to tell or I would have. No one offered to do anything for us. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY for the state of the food. I was led to the til where she rang in my bill of $59.34 and didn't say ONE WORD to me!! Just had a miserable look on her face. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant!! My husband and I go to Niagara Falls every year and we recommend alot of places to people we know who go there...obviously, this WON'T be one of the places we recommend!!

I wasn't sure about this place when I pulled up but inside the place was hoppin' and to my relief the dishes and tables were clean! I had a big breakfast of potatoes, bacon, 2 eggs and toast for $2.99 Canadian. The dollar size children's pancakes are enough to feed any reasonable appetite and the coffee was good. It's fun for kids, too. They will feel like they're doing something special. Outdoor seating is available.

Get away from the tourist traps and enjoy some of the local flavor of this restaurant. Authentic atmosphere and good food -- our best in Niagara. Waitresses were friendly and even brought our son an extra dessert for free. In the Lundy Lane section. The haddock, deep fried with fries. It doesn't get any better.

Place was dirty but I"ve seen worse. Food was good and the portions hearty. I found that the waitresses, most,( ours was fine) to be very rude and could care less about the customer and just seemed to waste time just waiting to go homes. I asked for the key to the upstairs rest room (it was loc ked) and was rudly told they could"nt find it, use the downstairs rest rooms, the upstairs was for the handicap and they did'nt want to get it dirty. Surprise, even if I did't have a cane or a wheel chair I am handicapped and have a plate on my car that proves it. Walking up stairs is difficult for me but they did'nt want to hear it. Next time, if the family is hungry and others places are full, I MIGHT stop. If I were you I would make this a last choice.

My hubby and i went there 3 times this past weekend on our trip there and it was very good food, great prices and amazing breakfast!!! the first morning we went there we got the ET special oh boy there was : 3 large eggs 2 peices of toast 2 large pancakes 2 saugages 3 bacon or 4? home fries good size all for like $6 I thought to get a med orange juice well i was wrong it was HUGE!!! there is also a special from 6 am - 11 am for 99 cents you get : 3 large eggs 2 peices of toast home fries great size!! My 5 year old daughter got the kids pancakes there were 6 good size pankcakes dont remember the price but it was good. we also went there for diner one night and hubby said there hambugers was the best!! i had the fish it was good, and my daughter had a kids meal of grilled cheese and fries it was also a great deal! that night at dinner there was my self, my hubby, our daughter, my mother, and her boyfriend and with drinks and dinner it coast less then $60 If you are in the area its a must to go!! The service was also amazing and fast!!!!!!

We always stop here when in the Falls (2-3 times a year) because it is consistent. It is a diner, a greasy spoon and good food fast. The menu is huge as are the portions. The specials are always well worth it. The service is very, very fast. It is popular with locals which is usually a good sign. The washrooms are relatively clean and well stocked with soap and paper towels. There is not a better value around than the 99cent breakfast before 11AM. Buy any beverage(like a pot of coffee for $1.29) and get 2 eggs, homefries and toast...try that at Denys.

We had their special. Buy any beverage and get eggs, home fries and toast for 99 cents!! The place is full of locals which is hardly surprising. Huge portions and interesting decor. Don't visit Niagara without having breakfast here.

Ate there last night and it wasn't that bad. I would go again if I had a chance. I got chopped sirloin and it was a good size portion with fires and a veg price $8.95. A 32 oz soda was $3.50

Just the look of the restaurant makes you at least want to try it. The sevice was friendly and quick, the food was good, and so was the portions. You should try this place for a unique experience.

First impression - how dirty and dark. The waitress upsells many many extras without letting you know the price. In fact she lied about a few things on the menu - very misleading. $50.00 for a lunch of basically thawed out fast food. Terrible experience.
Washrooms incredibly dirty as well

We ate here daily because my husband loved the food. It is very similar to New Jersey diner food, good food with huge portions. The restaurant can't be missed, it's the only UFO that I saw on Lundy Lane. Good coffee (a must!) Breakfast items Texas Toast (huge slabs of toast)

We had already been burned by the high prices of downtown Niagara Falls restaurants so decided to venture a bit further out and were thrilled to find the alien restaurant with its indoor retro-diner atmosphere with an outdoor carhop option. We ordered seafood and burgers and were so stunned not only by the quality of food but the quantity as well. Our $11 (Canadian price) fried scallop platter included the scallops, potato, vegetable, salad, tasty garlic bread and the wonderful "meat sauce" which we could slather on anything or eat straight from the bowl. Yum Yum. I would highly recommend this fun, congenial restaurant for family, friends, and aliens alike. We even brought back postcards of the aliens to share our experience. I wish someone would hijack this funny idea to the US and franchise it. The meat sauce and garlic bread. Fresh and simple alien comfort food.

Only downfall is that it is too small! Very busy place, and I know why...this place is AWESOME. Best prices in NF. Everytime we go there, this is a MUST. Next time we are going to try and get in at lunch of supper. The menu is extensive and over all just a great place. Service is quick and food is wonderful. Check this place out first. Your pocket book will thank you!

We went here because our kids thought it was soooo cool that is was a "spaceship" so we were hesitant but decided to go in.
Decor isn't fancy but comfortable. Kept the kids amused. They brought stuff for the kids to color with.
An extensive menu as well, it was hard to choose because everything looked so good.
The service was great so was the food.

After staying close to the tourist area to eat, and paying ridiculous amounts of money for not so great food, we decided to venture (by car) down Lundy's Lane. After reading the review of the Flying Saucer before we left for our trip, we knew it was recommended by most. And now we know why! Excellent food, great portions, great prices! You can pay 15 bucks for an omelette near Clifton Hill, or you can take 10 minutes, drive to the Flying Saucer and get an awesome breakfast for under $6. Very busy place, I suggest going around 9:30...when we left around 10:30 the place was lined up out the door. My husband ordered the E.T. special...he highly recommends it...tons of food. My son ordered the .99 cent special and it was plenty for him (no meat included..just eggs, toast and homefries) Think twice about ordering large drinks, cups are HUGE...my son drank waaaaaaaay too much chocolate milk. The platters that the food is served on are extra large as well.

Service is always good, and so is the food.We go there quite a few times during the year.I love the Chili Dogs

My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant. We at their everyday of our vacation. When you ask for a large chocolate milk, they seriously mean large. Well worth the price and the visit. We are going back to Niagara Falls this year, and I am so looking forward to going back to this restaurant.
