The food was not good! I sometimes read about people complaining about some dishes being tasteless at Chinese restaurants...I only wish we were so lucky!! Anything deep fried tasted like old grease and any dish prepared fresh(?) had an awful stale taste. The place is dirty inside and out. The washrooms were disgusting...there was vomit in one of the urinals! It was around 8 PM when we got there and my 2 boys were very hungry so we did not leave right away...but hindsight being 20/20 I wish we had. Half way through our meal the kitchen and wait staff sat down at a nearby table for their supper and guess what...they were'nt eating the crap off the buffet like we were. Before heading out to this place we asked the front desk staff at our hotel if they could recomend a good Chinese restaurant. The clerk was not sure but said some other guests had been there the night before a said it was OK! I doubt we were only there on an off night.

I'm a local who goes to this place now and then and the wait staff are very nice to deal with they don't bug you over and over they do chat a bit fill up your glass with water take away your used plates all and all its a very friendy place and clean too!

worst buffet i have ever eaten.this restaurant received a $25,000 fine for kitchen violations from the health department.dinner buffet costs $6 dollars.what kind of food can you expect for that price.i should have known better.

Bad to inedible and possibly even dangerous food, given the obviously less than 140 degree temperature of what was in the buffet serving trays. Filthy dishes provided for use. Sour milk for coffee. Complaints rejected by staff - refused refund or price reduction. Will be reporting to heath department. Worst restaurant I have visited in many years.

Worse customer service I have ever experienced!  And you can't even phone to complain, because nobody speaks or understands English!  And that is not a racial slur; it's the simple truth.
We ordered for delivery, waited more than an hour for our 45-minute promised meal, only to phone to find out it was "on the way, on the way".  Then, 5 minutes later the front desk calls up to say they were just leaving Niagara Falls (for delivery in Niagara-on-the-Lake)after calling to again verify the address.
All this lowsy service, and too late to cancel as my credit card has already been charged, or I would have cancelled the first time I phoned.

What's wrong with all you people? This is a great restaurant. I live in Niagara Falls, have been to all of the Chinese Buffets, and this is the best one. I won't name names, and I don't have to because this buffet beats them all, and for a better price. They have great food, a squid soup, which I haven't seen anywhere, and more selection than other buffets here. I can't complain about the service. I didn't have any stupid self created problems while dining there, and so I have nothing to complain about.

MY PARTNER CUT HIS TOUNGE & MOUTH ON A PIECE OF METAL FR A CAN. HE WAS BLEEDING ALL OVER HIS FOOD. THE WAITRESS MADE NO FUSS AND CONTINUED SERVING OTHERS. WE ONLY GOT ONE MEAL PAID FOR. WORST AND MOST DISGUSTING PLACE EVER!!!! NEEDS TO HAVE A HEATH AND SAFETY CHECK. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

I have eaten at China Buffet regularly for the past four years, and I have never had a bad experience. The worst thing that occasionally happens is that the chicken wings aren't hot, but I am very picky about having deep-fried food hot out of the fryer. 
The staff have never been anything but polite and prompt and friendly to me ... maybe some of those complaining should keep in mind that in food service, you get back what you put out. In other words, get prissy and demanding, and you'll get ignored.
The restaurant has always been clean when I have been there. Bathrooms may occasionally get dirty during busy times, but I find that people who are the pickiest about "cleanliness" in public bathrooms are those most reluctant to pick up after themselves when they make a mess. Those of you who pi** on toilet seats know who you are.

We arrived to find most food either cold (suspicious tasting as well) or just flat out "reheated" ...TOTAL RIP -OFF for the money

This is the worst place by far. I wouldn't even let my dog eat there. No wonder they got fined. The first impression was the outside. It looks like it has not been cleaned since it's been there. Then you go in the inside and it is okay looking. But the kids couldn't even play the claw machine out the front without the waitress hurrying you to come in. The food was the worst I have ever tasted. I would rather eat at McDonald's then this place. Everything was colder then it was outside and the ketchup was way overdue. We had to tell the waitress to throw it out. No wonder there was only us and two other people there. If you want hot, good food-DO NOT COME HERE!!  I would rather go hungry for a day then eat here.

This has to be the worst resturant in the world the food is gross, cold ,old and even the kids wouldn't eat it and they eat anything good to know that someone reported them theres a place that should just close there doors!!!!!

This is the worst place by far. It was the worts buffet I've had out of two countries. I wish I had seen this site before I went to Canada.

Last time I was there was in Jan of 2005 before new owners took over that place a few weeks of me eating there! Last time I wrote good food and nice staff but this time around the new owers are dirty and the new staff are not to brite. Service? What a joke order drinks and never get them untill they give you the bill?!Its like they just got off the boat?! Tip to the wait stuff when one comes in say hello and how many people in the party and then seat them down and ask what drinks would the guest like to order and then bring the drinks right AWAY not with the "bill"!!! PS: The washrooms are more dirty then before!!!! I gather this is one reason they get fined 25 G's from the heath Deptment? STAY AWAY!!!!!

Okey to the Local who keeps poting the comments what a great place. It's very clear your work there. This place is very dirty. Do you think the Health Department fined them because (A) Just somebody to pick on or (B) This place is DIRTY and GROSS!!
