The Skylon Tower is the tallest structure in Niagara Falls 
has an outdoor observation deck, glass elevators & an excellent revolving restaurant offering an exciting panoramic view of the Niagara area.

 If you look at the menu on display at the base of the Tower, you would assume from the prices, that this restaurant is the flagship of the Tower. The prices are at a premium, when compared to those of other restaurants in Niagara Falls.

Dining out in Niagara does not have to be an expensive venture, but be aware that taxes are high. Meals are subject to 8% provincial sales tax and 6 % GST, so when you factor in an average tip, a whopping 30% is added to the bill. Tipping is usually left to the diner's discretion, although some establishments add 15% to the bill for parties of six or more.
Pay attention to the wine prices in restaurants – they can be quite high, even for the local Niagara wines. Don't be surprised to find your favorite vintage at double the price you'd pay at the liquor store or sometimes even at the winery. Savvy diners can take note of wine prices in the winery boutiques and compare them with those on the wine list in their chosen restaurant in order to better gauge hosv much markup has be-n applied. Note that a 10% liquor tax is added to alcoholic beverage purchases.
Hours vary quite markedly between summer and winter. The "high season," when opening hours are long, runs approximately from May to October for restaurants. Some restaurants close 1 or more days a week in the winter months. You should always call ahead if you have chosen a particular restaurant in order to avoid disappointment.

Offering a panoramic view of the greens and the tree-lined Niagara Parkway, the Whirpool restaurant are open to the public during the golfing season from May until October. You'll enjoy a great view of the 18th hole, wholesome meals, Niagara wines and great service. A Children's menu, full tournament and banquet services are available.

Hard Rock Cafe

Admittedly touristy, this familiar enterprise pays tribute to everybody from Elvis to the Beatles with an abundance of memorabilia, an enormous guitar bar and music videos. While you check it all out, dig into a plate of nachos, a chicken club, a burger (there are even turkey and vegetarian versions), ribs, fajitas, a steak or the catch of the day.

The setting in their Barcelona room is decidedly Latin, with music and soft lighting adding to the ambience. Casa Mia Restaurant

Clean-lined and sophisticated, this applauded restaurant has been a Niagara presence for fine dining for many years. The family-owned establishment creates delectable Mediterranean dishes, including a pan-seared veal chop, oven-roasted Cuban lobster tail and veal scallopini with lemon sauce. Fresh seafood is also available, along with lamb and chicken, and pastas are a specialty. They include duck linguine, mushroom pappardelle and gnocchi gorgonzola.
