The restaurant is good, the price is fair for regular dinning but for special food like "Gluten Free" eaters it's quite expensive and it is not so tasty not so many options to chose from. Friendly employees. I recommend this for regular food eaters. This restaurant surprised me from the get-go. The hostess greeted us promty and we were seated in a nice table by the window with a few to the fire over that made the whole place smell amazingly like a campfire. The beer selection is great with some rare beers like Rogue dead man ale which is amazing. The pizza was large enough for 2 to share since they gave a no charge antipasto dish to start...all in all you have won this local niagara falls resident over and we have been back multiple times
I will admit that the crust on the pizza at this place is very good and the ricotta cheesecake, but if a so called Italian restaurant cannot make a simple aioli pasta then they should not be in the restaurant business. If my friend who understands food, but is not that picky, returned the pasta, then it had to be really bad!! We ordered the spicy calamari, not bad, but not spicy and had to ask for the crostini that comes with the calamari. Another fine dinning establishment by the Dripsacos family... 'Bravo', along with 'Al Macs' and 'My Cousin Vinny's' are great places to go if you are looking for cheaply made, uncooked (microwave) meals at an astronomical price. If perhaps your not looking for a meal, then try quenching your thirst with some of their finest bottled water. You will be quite displeased. If you want a good meal at an affordable rate, try any other restaurant in the Falls besides the ones listed above. Stay away for the 'Breakfast Chalet' as well, tourist traps at their finest. |
Word to the wise, this is probably the most unappreciative, rude, and classless family to work for in the Niagara Region. I cannot believe that people actually willingly work there. Or maybe it's just because there is a shortage of work. Either way, stay away from there establishments...........all of them are run off underpaid sweat equity. |
